Police investigate shooting in northeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a shooting in northeast Albuquerque.

It happened around 3 a.m. Saturday in a neighborhood near Menaul and Juan Tabo.

Police said two people got into a fight, then shots were fired. As of late Saturday morning, APD was able to confirm that one person was found deceased, but they are not identifying the victim pending notification of next of kin.

No further information is available.
