First ever Beer and Wing Fest makes debut in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)– The first ever Beer and Wing Fest made its debut in Albuquerque Saturday.

Hundreds of people turned out for the 21 and older event at the Albuquerque Rail Yards.

The 30 dollar ticket got them unlimited wings from the best wing spots in town.

The event also included a wing eating competition, craft beer and live music.

Five dollars from every ticket benefited Joy Junction and New Mexico’s Fisher House which helps care for veteran’s families when they’re getting care at the VA. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
