Showers and storms continue to move across central and now eastern New Mexico this evening. The rain will likely continue overnight in the eastern half of the state with some areas waking up to showers for Sunday morning. The rain and clouds have kept temperatures unseasonably cool for this time of the year across the state and tonight will be another cool night for most of New Mexico. Showers and storms will be on the increase once again for Sunday afternoon. Albuquerque and Santa Fe will have another shot of rain for Sunday afternoon. So you have outdoor plans for the second half of the weekend, you will want to keep the rain gear handy! Rain chances will continue into the beginning of the week with the cooler than normal temperatures continuing.
