New Mexico Black Expo hosts community empowering experience

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Their goal is to empower the community by providing resources and cultural experiences to the community, and they’re doing it in a fun way.

The New Mexico Black Expo (NMBE) will be hosting over 40 employers, a luncheon, kids activities, hair battles, live music and much more.

Bring your resume for the Career Fair on Thursday, August 25 at the African American Performing Arts Center where employers will be on stand by with job openings.

On Friday, August 26, The Ed Corley Sr. Corporate Luncheon will be held at the Embassy Suites starting at 12 p.m. Tickets cost $30. A panel discussion will be moderated by the Host of NM Focus, Gene Grant.

The last day of the EXPO, Saturday, August 27, join in on a free Cultural Extravaganza where many activities will be taking place from Step Shows, to Trade Shows and even a kids corner.
