John’s Thursday Afternoon Forecast

Cold front moves in...

A cold front will be the big weather story over the next couple of days. The cold front will move into the east later today, increasing the chance of storms northeast and north central this afternoon. Eventually those storms will work their way into central sections, including Albuquerque late this evening.

The storms will continue on Friday. Temperatures will also be noticeably cooler, especially across the east. There will be enough moisture around for scattered showers and storms to continue into the weekend. Central and east will continue to be the favored locations for storms, along with the high terrain.
