Local science museum hosts photo contest

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Science, technology, engineering and math may not be everyone’s favorite subjects in school, but the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History wants to change that.

Now that summer is over, the museum doesn’t want the fun to stop. They are hosting a photo contest.

The theme of the contest is “STEAM,” an acronym for science, technology, engineering, art and math.

Any individual, from professional photographers to kids, are welcome to enter. Deadline for the competitions is Friday, September 16th.

The museum’s Adminstrative Coordinator, Ashleigh Olguin, joined KRQE’s This Morning team to discuss the competition and demonstrate how to walk on eggs. Watch above.
