A weather disturbance will slowly work its way across the state over the next couple of days. This will provide moisture and lift, fueling showers and storms across the north and west. The east will see a handful of storms as well.
A cold front will help bolster storm chances across the east Thursday. That front will also pull the temperatures down to well below average. Albuquerque will struggle to hit 80° by the end of the week. However, a drying trend will take over for the weekend and early next week. This will allow temperatures to warm back up, but they will remain at or below average.
