FBI searching for suspect in attempted bank robbery

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The FBI is asking for help locating a man accused of attempting to rob an Albuquerque bank Tuesday.

Authorities say it happened at the Bank of Albuquerque on Wyoming near Montgomery around 10:15 a.m. The FBI believes the same man then robbed a Nusenda Credit Union a short time later.

The suspect is described as a bald white male in his 30’s. The FBI says the man is about 5-foot-8 to 6-feet tall, and was wearing a red shirt and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI at 505-889-1300.

A reward of up to $1,000 may be offered for information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
