Isotopes’ mascot seeking votes in ‘Best Mascot’ contest

Isotopes suggests showing love by sharing baseball

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A New Mexico celebrity is hanging on to a top spot in a special election, and he’s asking for your vote.

“Mascot Mania” is now underway, and Isotopes’ mascot “Orbit” is in the running for the “Best Mascot in Minor League Baseball.”

Voters can choose from a field of 160 mascots split up across four regions. Only four mascots will advance to the championship round, which is set to start August 29th.

As of Monday morning, Orbit was ranked third in the West Region.
