Enchanted Hills Elementary dismissed early after power failure

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – Students at Enchanted Hills Elementary in Rio Rancho were released at 12:45 p.m. Monday due to an electrical power failure.

Rio Rancho Public Schools says that due to heavy rains Sunday night, water seeped into an electrical panel which caused the outage. The school district says they expect school to run on a regular schedule Tuesday.

Buses will run at 12:45 p.m. or parents may pick up their children.
