ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Bernalillo County deputies are looking for the shooter in a double murder in the South Valley.
The Sheriff’s Department responded to the area of Coors and Gun Club at about 11 p.m. on Monday. They found a man and a woman dead at the scene.
Deputies haven’t named the victims, but family tells KRQE News 13 that the man killed was Adrian Anaya, an Albuquerque native and father to three young children.
“The killer did not just kill two people. He broke families’ lives in half with his actions,” said Austin Ladd, Anaya’s brother-in-law.
Investigators said this was not a random shooting.
They believe it started with an argument.
The Sheriff’s Department has not made any arrests.
