Albuquerque Botanic Garden now selling fresh juice

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – People can now enjoy farm-fresh grape juice at the Botanic Garden in Albuquerque.

At The Heritage Farm, crews pressed and bottled three types of grapes they grow at the BioPark.

On Tuesday morning, 1,700 pounds of grapes were pressed, a process that visitors got to see up close.

The juice is all natural and no pesticides are used.

“The grape juice, unlike commercial grape juice, is completely pure.  All we do is press the grapes. There’s no sugar added. There’s no water or any other kind of juices so it’s pure grape juice,” said Assistant Curator of Heritage Farm Lynn Foutch.

The juice is $5 for a half a gallon.

The BioPark will hold another grape juice event next month. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
