NMSU Football wants to make a statement in season opener

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KRQE)- The foundation has been laid and all the Aggies need to do in Coach Doug Martin’s 3rd year as Head Coach is win. They open up their season with a rivalry game against UTEP at their place on September 3rd.

It’s the battle for I-10 and a win against the Miners would be a great start for this Aggie team that is playing with a chip on their shoulder in 2016.

“Obviously with this being a rival game it is a little bit more important for us, but we just look at it as a great opportunity for us to make a statement”, said NMSU Head Football Coach Doug Martin.
