Storms this evening are moving from north to south with slight chance parts of Albuquerque could see some rain early on this evening. Storms will be confined to the mountains for the beginning of the week as an area of high pressure builds over the Four Corners. This high will usher in drier air for the start of the week with only a few storms possible each afternoon around the mountains. Temperatures will warm up some during the afternoon for Monday and Tuesday. A cold front moves into northeastern New Mexico by the end of the week. This front will recharge the atmosphere with moisture and trigger scattered storms for the start of the weekend. Temperatures will fall below average for parts of central and eastern New Mexico by the end of the week.
