Santa Fe police searching for armed robber

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe police say they’re searching for a gunman who robbed a dollar store on Airport Road Tuesday.

Police say the man fired a shot as he left the Dollar General store after robbing it Tuesday night.

The man is described as Hispanic, five-foot-seven to five-foot-ten and possibly in his mid 20’s. Witnesses also say he has numerous tattoos on the side and front of his neck.

Police say the suspect was wearing faded blue jeans with holes in the knees, a blue shirt or hoodie, white athletic shoes, white gloves with black palms and a grey ski mask.

The suspect is also described as having a “wandering” or “lazy” right eye.

Police say the man made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
