Driver arrested for chasing mother, 4 kids in car

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque man is accused of chasing a woman and her children because of road rage.

The woman says Danny Montoya became enraged near Unser and Montano when she didn’t see him in her blind spot and nearly hit him.

But after the incident she says he chased her and her four children all the way to the South Valley. She says he was honking, flashing his lights and yelling at her and trying to ram her vehicle.

Montoya claims he chased the woman because he believed she had hit him and needed to pay for the damage.

Deputies arrested Montoya for aggravated assault and child abuse.

They say a responsible person would have called police, not chased someone.
