Charity gives students clothes for school

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – School is just around the corner and a local charity is making sure kids are dressed to impress.

On Thursday, students got the chance to visit Locker 505. The non-profit organization provides clothing to students in need.

Kids select their own clothes through a boutique-style shopping experience.

The idea is to empower the students and allow them to select clothes they feel comfortable wearing to school.

The mayor says this allows students to focus on their studies rather than their clothing.
