Jake McCasland pitches a No-No

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)- Former Lobo and Piedra Vista graduate, Jake McCasland threw a 7 inning no-hitter on Sunday for the Green Jackets. The Green Jackets are the Single-A affiliate for the San Francisco Giants, and this no hitter marks the first for the team in a decade.

McCasland got the 1-0 victory after throwing 7 scoreless innings, giving up no hits, and striking out 10 batters. McCasland was a 26th round draft pick by the Giants in 2013 and is now 24 years old. He is now 3-4 on the season with a 1.49 ERA.
