ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Former Lobo D.J. Peterson made the jump to Triple-A Tacoma late last month. The 24 year old has only played in 15 games for the Rainiers and in that time, D.J. has flourished at the plate.
Peterson hit his 4th homerun for the Rainiers on Saturday and then followed that with his 5th homerun on Sunday. Peterson is now hitting .339 with 19 RBI and 5 HR’s. A great start for the 3rd baseman after a poor 2015 season. Peterson now ranks as the Seattle Mariners 6th best prospect in their minor league system.
