High School Musical

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – There’s one local theater company that prides themselves on being one of the only children’s theaters in the Duke City.

The Cardboard Playhouse Theatre Company (CPTC) is a non-profit organization that creates extraordinary theater experiences that educate, challenge and inspire young actors. This company does not charge to participate in their productions.

Actors Kelsey Martin and Jaaziah Vallano, along with Director Doug Montoya, joined KRQE’s This Morning show to discuss their upcoming performance of High School Musical Junior. Watch above for more details.

CPTC was one of the first to premier High School Musical a decade ago and is excited to premier it once again.

Curtains open on Friday, July 15th and the production will run through Sunday, July 24th. Friday and Saturday performances will start at 7 p.m. and Sunday shows will start at 2 p.m.  at the South Broadway Cultural Center.
