A blocking ridge of high-pressure will continue to keep moisture out of most of New Mexico through the weekend. The one exception will be the northeast where a cold front pushes in Thursday, fueling some afternoon storms. We could even see a couple storms across the southern mountains by Friday. By the weekend, high-pressure reestablishes itself and keeps most of the state very warm and dry.
