ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Former state Senator Phil Griego will go on trial for corruption. Late Friday afternoon a judge ruled there is enough evidence to try Griego on fraud, bribery, perjury and ethics charges.

Griego is accused of pushing through legislation a few years ago to sell a state-owned building in Santa Fe — while he was in line to pocket a $51,000 commission on the sale.

The trial date has not been set.
