Investigators search for new evidence in Dylan Redwine's death

DURANGO, Colo. (KRQE) – Investigators are hunting for new clues in the death of 13-year-old Dylan Redwine.

Redwine went missing in November 2012 near his father’s home in Vallecito.

His remains were found 7-months later on Middle Mountain. His death has bene ruled a homicide, but there have been no arrests.

Wednesday, the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office resumed their search on upper Middle Mountain in hopes of finding clues that would bring them answers.

“Anything we get that further solidifies the route that the detectives are going down certainly helps our case,” said Elaine Hall, Dylan’s mom.

According to the Durango Herald, Middle Mountain road will be closed through the 11th for the search.
