John’s Monday Afternoon Forecast

Sunny and hot this week...

It’s going to be a fantastic day to celebrate the 4th of July! Expect lots of sunshine for your outdoor plans. However, with the sun comes the heat. Afternoon highs will reach the mid 90s in the Albuquerque metro area, while temperatures will reach the triple digits across the south. If you’re going to be outside, please make sure to wear sunscreen and drink plenty of water.

The sunshine and heat continue through the rest of the week. Storms will be few and far between with the higher terrain favored for any action. The southwest will have the shot at more showers Thursday and Friday as some moisture starts to sneak back into the state.
