ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Donald Trump has yet to respond to former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson’s stance on his controversial speeches.

The Libertarian presidential nominee told CNN on Sunday that Trump, “has said 100 things that would disqualify anyone else from running for president.”

He also went on to say that he has real issues with Trump and his policies.

“Well, when it comes to Mexican immigration and that he would call immigrants from Mexico murderers and rapists, look, that’s just not true,” said Johnson. “They are more law-abiding than U.S. citizens and that is a statistic. They’re not taking jobs that U.S. citizens want. The stuff he is saying is just incendiary.”

Johnson ended by saying regardless of who Trump picks as a VP candidate, he has serious issues with his rhetoric and proposed policies. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
