Sean Carlon hopes his success continues at the Pacific Coast Amateur

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Consistency won it for Sean Carlon at Cochiti Golf Club last week. Posting great scores of 69, 69, and 68 in route for a two-shot victory in the New Mexico West Texas Amateur Championship.

After claiming this victory Carlon was named to the SCAGA team that will head to the Seattle Golf Club in Seattle, Washington, to compete in the Pacific Coast Amateur July 26-29.

“I feel like I am hitting the ball well enough after Cochiti where I can maybe play some good golf out there,” said Carlon. “I think it’s going to be pretty difficult, but I think I can recreate with, especially the facilities at UNM and some of the courses around here, some of that difficulty. It’s just I have to try and go out there with the best I have and see what happens.”
