Former Lobo Khadijah Shumpert headed to Greece

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Former Lobo women’s forward Khadijah Shumpert has signed a professional basketball contract with the Panathlitikos Sykeon in Thessaloniki, Greece. Shumpert is the second Lobo in two years to sign overseas.

Guard Antiesha Brown signed with Milan’s Paddy Power Sesto San Giovanni in Milan, Italy last summer.

As a Lobo senior Shumpert averaged nearly 15 points and six rebounds per game.
