Albuquerque Police Department delivers donations raised for Dog Head Fire victims

APD Dog Head Donations

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police Department delivered donations they received to victims of the Dog Head Fire.

Last Friday at Civic Plaza people donated food, water, pet food and money. Monday APD dropped by the area of the fire to hand out those donations.

“I think this just speaks to just everyone’s normal humanity. We see someone who’s in need and we want to reach out and help them. We were just the conduit so people could do that,” said Officer Tanner Tixier.

APD says they raised $1,500 as well as three tons of water, and one ton of food.
