FBI kicks off national campaign against a serial killer

SACRAMENTO, CA. (KRQE) – The FBI is launching a national campaign to catch a serial killer.

They’re looking for the man known as the “Original Night Stalker” and the “Golden State Killer.”

Between 1976 and 1986, he terrorized the Sacramento community. The FBI says he raped 45 women, and killed a dozen.

The FBI says if he’s still alive, the killer would be 60 to 75 years old.

While there’s no indication he’s in New Mexico, the Albuquerque FBI office has posted the case on its website.

On Wednesday, The FBI announced a $50,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
