Deputies investigate fatal shooting in southwest Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Deputies were called to the scene of a shooting in southwest Albuquerque Wednesday night.

Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department said they are now investigating the shooting as a homicide.

Officials say it took place in the parking lot of an Auto Zone near Coors and Rio Bravo after a possible carjacking.

They found someone was dead in the parking lot. Deputies say they saw a man on video in the victim’s car and are now looking for him.
