Albuquerque Mini Maker Faire is calling all Makers

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It’s part science fair, county fair, show and tell and something completely new.

The Albuquerque Mini Maker Faire is combining hobbyists, engineers, science clubs and much more from all generations.

Makers join together to share what they have planned, which include engineering oriented pursuits.

Director of the mini fair, Wendi Flybutter, and Makers, Mark Burton, Heather Norman, and Shelly Gruenig, joined KRQE’s This Morning team to show what they made. Watch above.

The Maker Faire features hands on activities, learning opportunities and the chance for visitors to get in on the action and learn skills such as rocket building.

The fair will take place on the weekend of August 27th, which means there’s still time to register.
