ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The University of New Mexico is partnering with Honeywell to work on national security.
The two signed a collaboration agreement Monday, making it easier for the aerospace company to set up research contracts with the university’s school of engineering.
It means both faculty and students will have opportunities to help develop Honeywell’s security systems.
“It’s a great win-win situation for both UNM School of Engineering, and definitely Honeywell, who’s going to have access to the top students in engineering,” said Professor Christos Christodoulou.
Honeywell says the partnership will bring innovation and a better exchange of ideas to their company.
