Los Alamos National Labs looks to hire more New Mexico students

LOS ALAMOS, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico Community Colleges are looking at ways to better prepare students for jobs at Los Alamos National Labs.

Lab officials and community college presidents met in Santa Fe with U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich, to figure out how to get students employed at the lab.

The lab estimates almost 2,500 job vacancies will come up between now and 2020.
