Ghost tours offer different perspective on Old Town

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – With a history that leads back to the 1700’s, Albuquerque’s Old Town has achieved notoriety for being the start to today’s current city as well as a violent past.

Organizers of the History and Ghost Tours of Old Town have gathered all the back story on different events from someone known as the Hatchet Lady to ghosts who they say still haunt spots such as the Plaza Don Luis.

According to the group’s website, over the course of 90 minutes residents and tourists who take the tour will discover why Old Town is known as one of the most actively haunted locations in North America.

For a detailed look at scheduling and getting on a tour, you can visit the History and Ghost Tours of Old Town website.
