PHOENIX, AZ (KRQE) – The FBI and New Mexico State Police say they have located Clinton Johnson, the man accused of abducting two Navajo boys from Wheatfields Lake. They are still deciding whether he will be criminally charged.

An amber alert was issued Sunday for 7-year-old Kerwin Gray and his 5-year-old brother, Lyric.

Police say their mother said that their stepfather, 26-year-old Johnson, took them from their home near the Arizona-New Mexico state line Saturday.

The boys were found just west of Gallup, but Johnson was still at large.

Officials are still investigating.
