Duke City Gladiators will not make the postseason

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Duke City Gladiators attempt to make the postseason fell short Saturday in a 69-46 loss to the Amarillo Venom.

The game marked the return of Kasey Peters to the Gladiators lineup. Peters looked sharp and was 21 of 28 with 302 yards and seven touchdowns.

He also threw a pair of interceptions in the loss. Gladiators receiver Dello Davis was Peters’ favorite target. Davis had eight catches for 147 yards and six touchdowns.

The Gladiators will wrap up the season by hosting San Angelo on June 4th.
