Chris’ Sunday Night Forecast

The severe weather threat will be winding down in eastern New Mexico over the next few hours, but the storm chances will continue for the East tomorrow.

Central and western New Mexico will see another day of sunshine and warm temperatures for Memorial Day!   Storm chances on Monday will once again be confined to the extreme eastern half of the state.  A few of these storms could be on the strong side producing hail and high wind.  So if you have outdoor plans on Monday, be sure to keep that in mind.

Bigger changes begin late Tuesday night.   That is when a cold front will roll in to the eastern half of the state.   This cold front will crank up the canyon wind in Albuquerque out of the east and rain chances will be going up for central and eastern New Mexico for Wednesday with cooler air moving in!
