Albuquerque police investigating shooting death of teen boy

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) – Police in Albuquerque say they’re investigating the death of a 15-year-old boy who showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound.

Officers were called to Kaseman Hospital around 10:15 a.m. Wednesday after the boy arrived and he was later pronounced dead.

Police say the department’s violent crimes detectives have been called in to investigate the shooting.

They say the death still is being investigated as a suspicious death and has not been ruled a homicide.
