US Marshals investigating northwest Albuquerque incident

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The U.S. Marshals Office says it’s investigating a “critical incident” in northwest Albuquerque.

Deputy Marshals say they were near Indian School Road and Rio Grande on Monday night, trying to catch a man who’d already been convicted of being a felon with a gun.

They say when they caught up with the man, he did have the gun on him and an incident did happen, but U.S. Marshals are not saying what that incident was.

However, they do say the man is now in custody. No name has been released yet.
