Study: Instagram posts used to determine acts of road rage

(KRQE) – A new study aims to help you avoid a violent encounter on the road.

The car insurance site Auto Insurance Center analyzed more than 65,000 Instagram posts using the hashtag “road rage.” Researchers then determined when aggressive driving happens.

Posts show road rage generally spikes at 6 p.m. on Fridays, and that August is the worst month for road rage.
