SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – A Santa Fe man has been arrested in connection to his daughter’s 2015 death.

Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office has charged 65-year-old William Kelley in the death of his daughter Julieanne Kelley.

In January 2015 William reported Julieanne missing saying she left the house and left her keys behind. William told investigators that he had tried to find his daughter on their property.

Investigators searched the property and later found Julieanne’s body. Officials say she was found with 30 to 35 stab wounds and blunt force trauma that resulted in her death.

William was arrested Monday on homicide and tampering with evidence charges.
