Officers clear building in Northwest Albuquerque, suspect charged

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Northwest Area Command officers are searched a building for a suspicious person in the 2900 block of Coors Blvd in Northwest Albuquerque on Tuesday.

A perimeter was established after officers say one subject attempted to gain entry into offices within the building.

Officers advised the additional occupants of the building to put a shelter in place while they search for the subject.

Officers say that members of the K9 unit cleared the building and found the subject hiding in a closet. The subject will be booked on multiple felony charges.
