NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico plans to return to the state health insurance exchange.

The company didn’t participate in the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange for 2016, when its requested premium hike of nearly 52 percent didn’t pass with regulators.

Now, Blue Cross and Blue Shield has filed products and pricing for next year.

People will have a chance to shop for coverage during an open enrollment period that begins in November.
