ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque Police Department officer accused of harassing women is going before the Civilian Police Oversight Agency Tuesday.

KRQE News 13 exposed Officer Frank Tillman in a News 13 On Special Assignment story.

He’s accused of harassing a stripper after arresting her during a domestic violence call. She claims he put his number in her phone saying he could help get her out of trouble. Since then, the two exchanged hundreds of text messages.

The CPOA could give APD recommendations on what to do with Tillman which could be anything from a written reprimand to firing him.

Tillman was suspended a few years ago for texting and flirting with a pregnant 17-year-old girl he’d pulled over. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
