New Mexico community gets much needed water

SAN LUIS, N.M. (KRQE) –  A small New Mexico community without water is getting some much needed help.

On Wednesday, the Water Utility Authority sent a 6,000 gallon tanker of water to San Luis about 70 miles north of Albuquerque.

A few days ago, a problem with the water system caused it to stop delivering water to customers about 60 people are affected.

San Luis is also getting water from the Sandoval County Fire Department. It has delivered water to livestock and residents.
