Santa Fe National Cemetery seeks Memorial Day volunteers

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Department of Veterans Affairs is looking for volunteers Memorial Day weekend.

They need help placing more than $50,000 flags on each grave site at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Volunteers are needed for set up at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 27 and for removal on Tuesday, May 31 at 9 a.m.

Anyone interested in volunteering can call 505-988-6400 ext. 105.
