Red Nose Day raises funds for children

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Local Walgreens stores are raising funds for a cause in a silly way. Stop by any Duke City Walgreens to purchase a red nose for Red Nose Day.

On Saturday, May 28 everyone is encouraged to wear their red noses to help support over 10 fundraising charities.

Rod Walter, Jeff Tolar, and Erica Alcantara joined KRQE’s This Morning team to discuss Red Nose Day. Watch above.

The mission of the red nose fundraising is to lift children out of poverty.

Buy red noses for only $1. Half of the proceeds will be donated to help poverty stricken children not only in Albuquerque, but across the U.S and other countries.

Other donations are being accepted at all Walgreens stores.
