TUESDAY: Another warm afternoon with temperatures topping out in the 60s, 70s and 80s statewide. Winds will not be as strong as what blew across the area Monday, although, they’ll still be noticeable with speeds ranging between 10-20mph. A few spotty showers are likely to clip the NM/CO stateline but accumulation and coverage will be very limited.
WEDNESDAY: Temperatures will stay near to just above average for another day – expect an afternoon of 60s, 70s and 80s stretched from stateline to stateline. A cold front will begin to make headway over the northeastern corner of the state. This front could help trigger a few strong thunderstorms over the Northeast Plains.
