LAS VEGAS, N.M. (KRQE) – According to a Craigslist ad, a New Mexico castle is up for sale.
The historic Montezuma Castle sits in the mountains just seven miles north of Las Vegas, New Mexico.
According to the ad posted on the Inhabitants of Burque Facebook page, the castle is being sold for just $650,000. However, when the link is clicked, nothing is there.
That’s because it’s all a hoax.
It isn’t known who posted the ad, but the castle is home to the Armand Hammer United World College, where students from 75 countries study.
The Queen Anne-style building was built back in 1886.
