Garcia was wanted by the Albuquerque Police Department for multiple felony warrants to include; Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Burglary with a deadly weapon, aggravated Residential Burglary, residential burglary, Larceny of a firearm, larceny, tampering with evidence, receiving and transferring stolen property, resisting and evading, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and conspiracy.

Due to surveillance by Deputy U.S. Marshals and extensive law enforcement networking, Garcia was tracked down and safely taken into custody.
